Pada perdagangan hari Kamis (20/10), secara teknikal indeks cenderung bergerak mixed pada kisaran 3620-3761.
Namun pergerakan pasar masih akan lebih banyak dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan dari Eropa, dimana masih belum terlihat adanya kesepakatan dari petinggi-petinggi negara uni Eropa dalam proposal terhadap penanganan krisis hutang di Eropa, menjelang batas waktu rapat tanggal 23 Oktober mendatang. Oleh karena itu, pergerakan IHSG masih cenderung volatile.
